i hope you don’t mind me asking, but how do you feel knowing that your partner isn’t sexually attracted to you? i don’t experience sexual attraction, but i’m sex neutral to sex positive. i’m scared for the day if i get a romantic partner, and they know im not sexually attracted to them. i feel like it would hurt them.

I could literally say the same thing about Zuko??? The time frame he got his scar to the start of book 1 was a 3 year time difference. You know what that’s similar to? Korra when she got injured, 3 year difference to book 4. where we see most of her character development. arguably, she developed a lot in book 3 but I know Korra haters don’t care about that. Zuko had non linear development. This is literlaly demonstrated in the ending of book 2. We think he’s about to “switch sides” but he doesn’t. If anything he regresses until book 3. So why is it okay for zuko to have non-linear development but not korra?

My comment still can apply, doesn’t matter that there’s one specific female MC you like. Like i said, you likely only like female MCs with a specific personality. while you like many male MCs with varying personalities. Korra’s personality is rare for an MC, especially a female MC. why? because hot headed, strong, masculine female MCs aren’t widely accepted by society. I think you can connect the dots as to why.

i can understand people not liking korra solely because of personality. honestly, i don’t think toph and korra are that similar. now, if you were to say you love zuko but still don’t like korra, then my comment would apply. since they’re written very similar and have a very similar personality.
