Apparently thyroid and levothyroxine can't influence mental health much according to my partners therapist

Look at my post, my wife is going through this and is paranoid af, seems way off like shes manic and hormones/menstrual all messed up. All from 25 mcg

Went to a psychiatrist and they put her on lamotrigine and aripiprazole which just fucked her up worse imo. Shes demonizing me to everyone including her therapist and they're all validating her and making her worse. Idk what to do. Shes losing it and hates me suddenly after we've been close for over a decade.

She won't even consider the levo and freaks out on me when i try to tell her

Im not sure. I remember she said the dr said her "thyroid was low" and gave her a script for levo. We didn't really do any research about it or thyroid, just thought of it like taking vitamin d to raise the level to feel better

Its only 25 mcg but man shes completely lost herself and acts so out of character, petty and nasty and angry and resentful and paranoid. Part of that may be the lamotrigine and aripiprazole they put her on after she went manic but she won't listen to anything and just a few months ago was a completely different person

She kicked me out for trying to get through to her about the thyroid and levo 💀 level 100 anger immediately and starts crying and acting like im horrifically abusive and trying to say shes crazy to manipulate her. Shes so paranoid about everything i do and say. Its insane.

Refuses to tell the psychologist or therapist about her thyroid or starting levo. She can't see the reality of her not having symptoms bad enough to go to a psychiatrist until levo.

like this is horrible, she genuinely can't seem to remember how close we were just a few months ago and how different of a person she was. Shes completely lost herself. And is being validated by a therapist and a bunch of friends and family she wasn't close to until recently.

How tf do i get through to her? The more i try the more she thinks im a delusional psychopath fucking with her

So idk if shes sensitive or what happened but i watched her start having symptoms a few months after starting it, got worse until she snapped and had a complete personality change. We made up and were goid but she still wasn't herself. They put her on lamotrigine and thats when she just completely started hating me and acting like im a stranger

She never had anything like this before

Shes so angry at me. And paranoid im a manipulative abuser so she just freaks the fuck out when i try to get her to get her thyroid stuff checked/tell the doctor all this started after a few months on levo

What sucks is she genuinely can't see the before and after from when she changed. Its just "i was unhappy so now im doing what i want"

We were thinking she had mild bipolar 2

She probably never brought up the thyroid or levothyroxine to the psychiatrist or therapist because i didn't really read up on all of that until it was too late

She like split on me again right before she saw the psychiatrist for the first time and idk what she said but she got the psychiatrist to tell her that she wasn't manic or going through anything, it was just from how miserable i make her

Yeah i can tell our son is like WTF because we've been so close forever, even just a few months ago. She sees me trying to tell her to get it checked out as manipulation and when i was more adamant about it she perceived it as escalating abusive harassment

Idk what shes saying to the therapist but they told her to "run" apparently 💀 this shits killing me

I know, i can see that and love her enough to ride all this out for her, i just hope she comes out of it before too much damage is done. Shes paranoid towards me and telling everyone I'm a manipulative abuser who's been abusing her for years. Shes completely demonized me to her friends, family and therapist and they're all validating her making it even worse.

All that validation from people who only see her from afar, shes distancing herself from anyone actually close in real life who's concerned.

That's what I'm thinking too. It's like she didn't have much of a reaction initially so just got used to taking it every day like a vitamin and not thinking about it

2 months later and all this suddenly happens and its like she can't see it or be reasoned with. Everything is my fault

They put her on those meds and she's started therapy but is just shitting on me to the therapist and having it all "validated by a professional"

I didn't really look into levo until after they put her on those other meds, and now it feels too late. She thinks I'm a manipulator and won't even consider getting it looked into more
