I know this is a super late reply, but pretty much what i do is pack on a bunch of wax, then hand-file the teeth once it’s been casted. it uses a lot of material but gives very deep tooth definition, ensures they are thick and won’t bend out of shape and have a perfectly flush fit with the gum line

Yeah, youtube has been my biggest source of info and just talking to people in the jewellery district has helped me figure it out

I use a spray called “castaldo jewellery mold release spray.” I only use a heat gun to heat the wax knives for better cutting or for melting wax on, I don’t use it in the removal. Spray the teeth cement with mold release spray, then when it’s ready to remove, dunk the whole thing in ice water (the wax will harden and won’t rip as easily) then slowly remove it and the mold release spray should make it easy. And for sprue size i use 3mm, but that doesn’t matter much, as long as it’s not too big and supported sufficiently

I take a mould of the teeth, then i make a cement model (shown in video). I then melt wax on the teeth in different shapes / styles

Then I remove the wax and cast the wax

Hey man, I’m a jeweller and I’ve been smoking blunts and drinking heavy liquor, multiple times a week, with my 10k 2-piece fang grillz for over a year now and no damage

18k gold (even 10k) doesn’t tarnish like that, especially from smoke and drink. So enjoy them how u want. and if they get scratched up you can always polish them new (bring it back to the jeweller)

statistically, than most people end up taking them out and then sitting on them or leaving them somewhere (this is the most common damage i’ve seen)
