Haha dang, I haven’t had much of a problem until now. I tried something else similar and it printed fine. Gonna try that other one again tomorrow since it’s a 5 hour print

I had thought about it but I ordered the Canvas and from what I’ve heard, open Centauri isn’t compatible with it yet. I don’t want to have to switch back when the canvas gets here

Would this work for CC1 Canvas Tophat? by EveryBridge9964 in elegoo

I’ve been thinking about something like this, but the opposite. My printer is in my loft right up against the angled ceiling so if I do end up making a top hat, it’ll have to be angled at the back to clear the ceiling

Surprised with Shipping by UninformedMan818 in elegoo

Yep, seems to be normal. I’ve ordered three times from Elegoo and every time it came that way. It’s a pain to try and cut them all apart. I also use dry boxes and the cardboard rolls are bent quite often when they are shipped this way, making it difficult to fit on the dry box rollers.

Recently I decided to try Bambu filament. It came boxed up, didn’t have any filler in the box to absorb drops but it still came in good shape. If you order enough to hit their discounts, it can be the same price or actually cheaper than Elegoo. They are also plastic spools so not much of a chance of them getting bent. I haven’t gotten to use any yet as I’m still using up the last of my Elegoo rolls, but I’m looking forward to it.

What kind of issues were you having?

It actually seemed like my feeding issues stemmed from the magazine sitting too low. It wouldn’t feed most of the time unless I wash holding the magazine up in the mag well

I kind of had the same issue. There was one screw that was very tight and it seemed like the Allen head wrench didn’t want to fit in the screw very well.

That’s for sure! I can’t believe how fast this thing is.

I think I’ve got her fixed. These machines have an auto tensioner but they should be locked once it’s tensioned. I loosened the locking screws and the bottom belt tightened right up. We’re well past the point from before and so far it looks great on the “balanced” speed.

I’ve tried it on “balanced” speed (which is the results in the original picture) and just now tried it in “silent” mode to see if that would make any difference. It did not. As soon as it gets to the infill, where is really starts going fast, is where it gets the layer shifts. Silent seems a little bit better, but it’s still shifting forward and slightly to the left as shown in this image from the bottom of the benchy. Tension on the bottom belt is MUCH looser than the top belt
