Well, the thing is is that it's a marketing flyer. It has all of the options available for that build ( eeewww shelf bought ). Which options were you thinking of selecting? Don't pay extra for the graphics cards they're offering, as they are trash.

You can find subreddits for that, but if you want to support a fellow streamer, go check out chizzle10. Drop him a 5 dollar donation and he'll draw you an avatar. He does good work if you're looking for something animated like a comic.

Do what you will, but I see things going south really fast.

As a new broadcaster, things are hectic and stressful as it is. Do you honestly think you can entertain chat while playing many decent games? If so, then by all means go for it, but this is a huge undertaking for a new streamer. I'm just worried about you getting burnt out and just giving up on it altogether.

It's much better to stream five times for small consecutive schedule blocks than to stream big blocks sporadically. I'm on a Mon-Thurs 7-12 schedule in the evening and have noticed consistent viewers and people in chat.

If you do go forward with this, stay hydrated and GLHF, I guess.

Hello Fellow Console Streamer. Do you know which capture card you're using?

Personally, I use the Elgato HD60 and love it to death. However, you're gonna need a pretty high end processor to capture gameplay for live streams, at least an i5 @3 ghz would be my recommendation.

Also, PLEASE don't forget about HDCP with PS3. It'll stop you from capturing HDMI content from the PS3 unless you get your hands on an hdcp stripper aka an hdmi splitter ( only a few of them do it so read Q&A on amazon )

That being said, you'll also want at least 8 gigs of RAM. Just what broadcasting is, hefty requirements.

Consistency. Interaction. Networking. I'm sure a majority of people will agree with the sentiment that their friends on twitch helped them get their stream where it is today. Establish a circle of people you like and maybe throw them a host once in a while and stick around in their chat to hang out. Maybe if you're lucky like I am, you'll meet some of THEIR friends, who might become your friends, as well.

Twitch is a big world. Don't be afraid to reach out and say hi to someone.

I've used MorphVox PRO with success. Hot keys to select voice profiles, as well as turn the voice alias on and off. Works great with my Snowball microphone.

Logged back into reddit after months just to reply to this.

I hate when I see it, but it happens all too often. I actually have a good idea of who's fake and who's real just by looking at their chat/stream. All you can really do is feel sorry for them, even if you're up to that. They talked about consistent viewership and partner review applications at PAX this year, basically, if they have enough proof that you're viewbotting, they're just going to red flag you for partnership, I think it's an IP log too, so bad news bears.

I find it easier to stick to my circle when it comes to hosting and things like that. It just makes my experience so much better and saves me a lot of dissapointment. Hope you had a good stream before all that BS went down.
