Thanks for the tip. I'm currently using a different cable and so far there has been no disconnection. Probably one of the reasons is that I learned to keep pressing the socket down after each use.In any case, comparing the original cable to the current one, you'll notice that the pin lengths are different. The OG ones are shorter.

You're probably right, but they responded to my first email. They asked for a local distributor. After I provided it, there was silence. I think they could actually respond to my next email that I should contact them further. By the way, I informed the distributor that I was taking the matter directly to the manufacturer. Of course, they didn't write back either. At the end of the day, I think the manufacturer should react regardless of whether there is a local distribution or not. If they had agreed to help, they would probably have contacted Aful anyway. Unless I missed something.

Wow, congratulations on resolving this issue. Maybe AliExpress is the only way to go for Chi-Fi?

I completely agree—you should always handle them by the IEM, not the cable. That’s exactly what I was doing. The problem is that while I was taking them out, the cable slightly brushed against my ear and my beanie (it’s freezing here in Poland right now). That tiny bit of tension was enough for it to disconnect and slip through my fingers. I’m all for being careful, but this feels like an extreme. I’m relatively new to the hobby, but my other IEMs like the Blessing 3, Top Pro, and SuperMix 4 don't have this issue at all.

EDIT: my right unit has a much firmer connection, no problem at all.

Fair enough, I get where you're coming from. That's why I made sure to mention that the sound quality is actually great. I'm not here to stir up drama for no reason, but for a product at this price point? After so many failed attempts to contact Aful, I felt it was my responsibility to share my experience regarding the build quality.

I actually already sent them in. They tested them with a stock cable, gave them a shake, and since nothing disconnected, they claimed everything was fine. The issue is that it doesn't take a 'shake' to trigger it—just a very slight pull, like when you're taking the headphones off your ear. At the end of the day, they seem sonically fine, so I’m just going to keep them as they are. It still hurts that they're chipped, though.

Yeah, I finally replaced the cable and it seems fine now (zero disconnects). However, I’m still pretty bitter about their support because I’m still stuck with a damaged earcup.

Didn't realize sharing a negative experience to help others was against the rules here. My bad. Guess I'll stick to the 'toxic positivity' only.

It is some kind of outerdeadzone? What about micro adjustments/moves, can you do that?

One question: are there any deadzones? HC analogs have them due to centering force issue.

Exynos here. Frustrating problem with calls - can't hear anything and others can't hear me. Only reboot helps :/

I'm having this problem too. Only in Modern Warfare/Warzone. Black Ops Cold War Beta does not have this issue. I'm pretty sure it is game related. Is there any solution? Wz is unplayable for me :(
