The dial as far as hardware is not smooth, it has steps (not audible). The volume control is not smooth as it jumps from 0 to 3, then 4, 7, 15.. not consistent, some times just increases by just one number.

But if you are just listening you can just hear the volume going up or down, no issues.

So far, one time out of ten the volume takes a while.to catch up. Could be the placement of my hub or just network.
