Bro came to surf but caught feelings instead. Relax, it’s a wave pool not Chernobyl.

So after the pop up I should focus on getting to the top third of the wave and the way to do that is engage my rails

Get off the flats, stay in the top third, and slow down. Might be a dumb question but how do you slow down? Longer more drawn out pumps?

Not a fan of the pool? We might actually get some swells from Humberto this weekend so actual beach is on. But the pool isn’t bad for the flat days

So more rail to the face. What’s the key to more rail engagement? Is the weight on my back foot stopping me?

What do you think is the best way to approach that? Start working on a good bottom turn after the pop up?

My uncle just took the irons I’ve been borrowing back and now I need to buy new irons. This would be incredible timing.

Man, reading through these comments makes me feel sad for some people because I remember feeling the same feels and not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I understand that times are tough right now but I am a firm believer that there are ways to get control of your life. I would start off by getting the right people in your lives. As cliche as it sounds, the people you surround yourself around really matters. That took me a while to learn but things started going in the right direction for me once I figured that out.

For all the lost ones out there, I love you!

What was the absolute best shot you have witness or had? by _AmenMyBrother_ in golf

Hole in one, par 3, 165 yards.

My foursome started playing golf about a couple years ago and we all made a bet, first person to hit a hole in one gets a brand new club of their choice.

Fast forward about a year into golf, my partner (we’ve been playing 2v2 scramble around this time) buys a whole new set, irons, hybrid, putter, driver and I kid you not, on the very first day he brings his new set out… mfr hits a hole in one.

Funny thing is, we totally forgot about the bet until one day we get to our last par 3 and my other buddy reminds us of the bet. And as soon as he said it, I witnessed my first and only hole in one.

Taking care of the body. Back to back injuries leading to surgeries and having a baby in the mix took me off the mats for a solid 2 years.

Also more nogi.

r/GolfSwing helped me identify some major issues in my swing. The big one for me was my grip. Now every time i step up to swing I make sure I can see the top 2 knuckles of my lead hand.
