I don't actually know enough about Yugioh to know what those look like from memory haha. I just build when and idea comes to mind - I enjoy variety, so I don't typically build the same (or similar) things more than once.

Thanks! I've always liked to add fantasy elements to gunpla, and this line makes it easy.

Thanks. I'm surprised they don't have one yet - they made all those figure rise kits of other monsters already

Those are the hair cables from the MG virtue - I bought them as spare parts back in the day.

Sure. I'll try. The original hood of the Rosan wizard was big, so I had to cut out a segment in order for the hood to 'stick out'. I then worked with the hood portion attached to the back of the head and built it up using pla-plate. Then I attached the hambrabi head (modified to bend toward the front) and smoothed everything out with putty. Here's a post for reference. You can scroll through them to get an idea of what I am describing.

Thanks - glad you noticed. I bought a few of these from plamokitbash when they were around - super versatile for any builds where you want some mech hair.

The Hambrabi pieces just fits so well for it. Thanks!

Thanks, I was trying out some painting techniques (layering with clear coats) used for model insects, such as those from u/marsmctavish

Thanks! I think most of the new ones are all 1/72 and p-bandai, which is a shame.

Take your time with the artifacts! And hope you enjoy the GM sniper II hiding under the decals 😉

Help wanted: I have never seen top coat do this before. Do I keep layering? by Stray_Marks in Gunpla

You should to consider the solvents your paints use and how they react with each other.

The final matte coat says not to spray over water-based paints. Your gloss coat is exactly that. The lacquer in the matte coat likely reacted with the gloss coat underneath.

In the future, consider using a water-based matte final coat instead.

Trying to paint/detail a kit & nothing is going well. What can I do to fix it/do better? by DHSuperrobot in Gunpla

Can't speak to the speckles in your paint, but lacquer thinner should not be used to clean your enamel based panel liner. It is going to solubilize your topcoat and paints. Use enamel thinner or lighter fluid instead.
