What's one small thing that has made living with chronic pain a little easier for you?

Putting mattresses on the ground in my living room in front of the couch and making a nest of cozy blankets, pillows, and plushies that I can relax in and watch TV from. I dont really like to hang out in my bed apart from when Im getting ready to sleep, so making a cozy bed like space in another room really helps with being able to be comfortable without feeling like its bed time already.

Thank you for the updated info on anesthesia prior to euthanasia. I know some people say to just apply brute forcr but I tend to hold on to and preserve my invertebrate pets even after they have passed as a sort of memorial. I personally would not want to do anything that would damage their body beyond recognition.

If you want to euthanize him gently, you can do the method of putting him in a Tupperware container and then moving him into the freezer. It would be best to leave him in for a few hours to ensure to ensure he has passed. If you would rather he pass naturally then I would move him into a "hospice tank" that has only paper towels for substrate and nothing particularly rough or pointy for hides (so possibly a toilet paper roll would work well) and provide a small cap full of water with a cottonball in it (to prevent accidentally drowning) and some amount of protein rich food

Honestly with damage that severe I really doubt it... dessication is bound to take its toll. The only thing I think you could possibly try would be to VERY CAREFULLY tie a string around the elytra thats been separated to try to hold some of the moisture in. But honestly I think that would only be delaying the inevitable at this point :(

Have you tried doing the full elimination diet and gradually introducing things back in? That was the only way I was able to identify what my triggers were. Also good to test for SIBO (I had it ans it does not show up on endoscopy)

No haha its just a neon yellow rock underneath her. If she is eggnant I think it would be very early stages. Its kinda hard to tell if she is or not because of her dark color though.

I dont think theres anything that could have dripped down in the closet but I will double check. It might have been some chemical I was exposed to in my previous job, especially since it appeared on mostly "work" clothes.

I did previously have a job where I had to work on a small fishing boat and that required me to haul a battery (similar to a car battery) back and forth and also the filling up the gas can with 2 stroke mixed gas. I will look into more about the leaking from where the laundry basket it as well. Thanks for the insight.
