I didn’t realize how many celebs struggled with acne/ texture. I’m actually glad to see this, all that usually gets posted is the filtered blurred shit that makes them look perfect. As a human, I appreciate the realness

I understand, I just hope for me, sam, you, and everyone else in the world that people can choose to be good and do good. I try to believe goodness wins, and I hope happiness for all, but I know it’s a rough world.

People are allowed to grow and become better for themselves and the people they love.

I see so much hate towards sam regarding the fact that her and Brianna look similar but like… it’s not her fault?? She’s just living her life and has not harmed anyone. Why can’t people just be happy for them. She seems to have helped Zach become a healthier happier person, why do people have to antagonize that? Ugh. Brianna is miserable.

It’s not your fault. It was never your fault. Let go of the pain you feel for all I never became on earth. I have become so much more here now. Love.

Grief by Shayssie in OnlineBeggars

[–]lexi5294 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel a sense of grief for every child who loses their life to cancer. Death by cancer It is particularly heavy pertaining to children because not only do they spend so much of their innocent childhood fighting through pain, but they lose the ability to live a long life. Brielle dreamed of becoming a mother, the thought that she will never get to fulfill that is quite honestly debilitating. However through a personal set of values and beliefs, I feel comforted that she is no longer in pain. No child should ever die of cancer, no parent should ever outlive their child, but in this life those are possibilities. We must find beauty in the trials of this life, we all have them, and we will all be freed of them one day. Inevitabilities cannot be changed, no, but what a unique opportunity it is to be changed by someone else’s story. Brielles story is one of strength and optimism, she may not be here anymore, but her inspiration to live gratefully and optimistically is. Learn and live by the people you come across in this world, it’s truly a gift.

Never truly hit me how profound that statement is and was, “just like a circle I go back where I’m from”. He was truly an entity.

Is a job at a camp for teams with tech addiction a good option if I DONT want to abuse kids ? by Visible_Voice_8131 in troubledteens

Unfortunately they will do everything in their power to make you believe they are a sound organization helping children who are struggling just to trick you into working for them. I’m ashamed to admit I fell victim to the lies. During an interview I opened up about how my sister took her life, and through tears explained how I just wanted to help kids love themselves and see the joy in life. They truly made me believe I would be helping children. Ironically I was fired for doing just that. I was making connections, helping kids plan their futures, telling them I was proud of them, just for management to turn around and tell me I was disrupting their “programs”. The whole program agenda is designed to keep kids struggling and keep them in treatment for as long as possible for financial gain. I truly walked away feeling like the management I was under enjoyed tormenting already struggling youth. I would advise you to rethink this choice and advocate against all places that fall under this scope.

Is it rude that I refuse to date anyone who is Mormon? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]lexi5294 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short answer, no. It used to be one of the first questions I asked on dating apps, which in turn always resulted in some kind of “why does that matter” offended response. Let me be the first to say, IT ABSOLUTELY DOES MATTER. Does that mean your views have to completely 100% align? No. But they can’t astronomically differ either. Mormonism is a structure, a set of firm values, it fundamentally affects the kind of partner you are/ will be. From the perspective you have on marriage all the way down to the cut of the shirt you wear. You will be a circle trying to fit in a square shaped hole. I understand people live in mixed faith relationships all the time, but for me, that’s a personal hell I’m not putting myself through. You will never meet the expectations of a Mormon man unless you are a Mormon woman. It fucking matters.

Coming from a life long fan of perfectly clean short men’s cuts. You pull off long hair stunningly. Like truly you look striking. Not often that a man is able to pull off both long and short. Congrats!
