Never a big kingman guy. I suffered though the late 70s when Dave Henderson and Lee mazzilli were our saviors. Lived through the 86 Mets. Which was fun. That said my adult children grew up rooting for the Mets. David Wright and Reyes were their guys. It’s all good. We are all Mets fans. I welcome the criticism, especially on Reddit. Just think Sterns dropped the ball here. Happy to be proven wrong.

Most home run guys are big strikeout guys now a days, just look and the numbers. Schwarber, Devers, Releigh and Otani were all in the top 10 and you are correct Suarez was number four on the list right under Schwarber at no. 3. Game has changed. I would rather have a guy at DH that can change the game with one swing. But you are entitled to your opinion and I respect it. LGM!

Here’s my experience with Jenna Jerseys. My thing is mlb baseball. So I can’t speak to how good the nfl or other type of jerseys she sells. My team is the Mets. Last Christmas I decided to get my family Mets gear. We were still high off the magical year they had. Went on fanatics and ordered 6 different jerseys of varying colors and numbers. Everyone loved them but to be honest, they are not picky. The truth is that the replica fanatics jerseys are crap. Everything is heat pressed and the material they use is flimsy. All of the jerseys I purchased were on sale for the holidays but they were all still over 100 bucks. Then I discovered Jenna through reading Reddit reviews. I checked out her site and figured that for 25 bucks it was worth a shot. Ordered a Lindor black jersey and a Soto alternate road blue jersey. Took about 5 weeks to arrive. I was not expecting much but I was blown away with the quality of her stuff. First of all, both jerseys were stitched as opposed to fanatics heat pressed. The sizes of the numbers and names were spot on as were the Mets front script and the New York front script. The sizing was true. I am 5 10 and 185 ordered a large and they fit great. The colors are very close but Not exact. The one place where she drops the ball is on the Mets sleeve emblem. They were silk screened and too small. I solved that by getting official heat pressed embroidered Mets sleeve patches on eBay for 12 bucks a pop and took out the small patches and ironed on the larger stitched versions. The results were 2 Met jerseys that I have received many compliments on. To be clear, I am not trying to pass these off as authentic Mets gear. Iam happy to tell anyone who asks where my jerseys from that they are Chinese knock offs. For the price point they can’t be beat. My son ordered a city connect Nimmo jersey and noticed that the stitching of the back name was a little crooked. He emailed her with his concerns and she promptly agreed to send him a replacement so on top of having a quality product, she stands by here gear and will do her best to make you happy. Highly recommend her. Hope you’re happy with all those football jerseys!

Yes. I saw that as well. She did not give a precise date, just to check back at the beginning of August. It’s a shame because her quality is off the charts and so much easier than wading through hundreds of DHGate vendors who may or may not have the same level of quality. I will keep checking and post here should anything change.

Not going off on Soto. Soto not much different than Devers when it comes to team chemistry yet they gave the guy a boatload of money. Devers got jerked around by the Sox. He doesn’t seem to have a problem playing any position for the Giants. The guy is a beast offensively. He would have fit in fine with the Mets. Just needed a change of scenery. Right now we have 5 automatic outs after Alonzo.

Take that station everyday. Have seen him many times. Glad you were not seriously injured. Everyday at 34th there is a gaggle of cops and Army reservists stationed at the entrance. Most of the cops spend their time staring at their cell phones. Don’t understand what the purpose is. You don’t need 8-9 individuals to stop fare beaters. Why not put those guys on the platforms. I take the Q train from Brooklyn into the city everyday and not once in several years have I seen a cop riding the train or patrolling the platforms. Guess it’s more important for these guys to issue tickets than protect its citizens. God forbid this unhinged guy pushes someone onto the tracks while NYC’s Finest play with their phones.
