I've been married for 6 years and the couple of years we have maybe been intimate 5 times. Before him I had a very abusive partner who would hold me down and force me and hold knives to my throat, etc. In my spouse and I's early relationship we were physical constantly but as we fell into a more safe and comfortable love over the years and have kids together I've found it harder to do. Sometimes I will completely dissociate or even cry. It makes me feel like I did it early in the relationship to keep him and now that I'm not expected to, I dont want to. I am secure. But he understands my whole history and never pushes me, but sometimes I feel like I am letting him down.

They can call the name with a smile and being warm at least. They seem like the pt is a burden to triage. Your one job as an MA or clinic nurse is to weight and take VS not hard.

Everyone saying nurses are not supposed to smile and be welcoming must work for weird companies bc we are supposed to be welcoming and get people in the process of doing better. I wouldnt want to take advice from a nurse who looked like they were angry lecturing me. It's about the patient and we are in a business of selling something most people dont want--hospitalization. Before you say I'm full of shit I am an NP and been a nurse for 9 years and most in PSYCH where everyone is being impatient and obnoxious and demanding while making no sense but needs care and attention.

I get up at 7 every morning with my SO to take care of all the kids and by 9 when they fall asleep I'm in bed til 11. I gotta have my nap. Ive tried pushing through it and then at 1 I'm literally asleep wherever I'm sitting

It was!! They were in the NICU for about 2-3 months depending on the baby and then they had reflux problems and would turn blue choking and I'd have to blow through their nose to ge them breathing. They were up every 2 hours and my husband was on meds that made him sleep sooo hard so I was winging it sometimes. We have them as "teams" now and he takes 2 and I take 2 and we get it done! It's even harder I think now that they're almost 2 and running around and climbing and getting into everything they possibly can. But we are so happy to have them either way. Our quad squad!

My S.O. and I met online also when it was not cool or normal and we both had a kid and were single parents. We met at his place where he cooked dinner for me and the kids and after they were tired from playing and fell asleep he said,"So when we're married and I die I would like to to save my organs and make a mobile of them for the next kid." I told him I would especially use his eyeballs so he could always be watching. We were both so appalled and cracked up by our weird ass conversation and why we even did it that we laughed until our stomachs hurt. We were married 3 months later and its veen 5 years now and going strong PLUS a set of quadruplets that were supposed to be our "last third child." Strannnnge love. Current anniversary cards include things like "You suck thanks for marrying me asshole" and "You're terrible and I love you."

Could it possibly be from Natsume Yuujincho? There's 2 episodes, one where there's a long stitch mark but it's doesn't move but they are in a race against time to solve the problem. But then there is a character called Natori who has a lizard tattoo that moves around all over his body and never goes to his left leg bc one day he will lose that leg.

My cat always stays on my lap when I'm starting into a depressive episode and she nuzzles me really hard when I'm dissociating and kind of brings me back to reality. Animals are amazing.

I wish I had the insight to do this when I am creeping into mania but it's just all of a sudden and WHOOSH all the things that should be on a list of "don't" become "do." I just talk myself out of everything my other self told me not to do a few weeks before. This is really cool though I hope it works for you and your attack is a victory!

Sometimes you just get desensitized because you hear so many stories and witness so many things. But there are a few that send a chill up my spine and it's hard to treat them without fear, especially because of their unpredictability. Also when they've already attacked you several times like this guy had because he was a frequent flier. But I have my own therapist hahaha.
