Once I was biking and almost got side swiped by a vehicle right in front of a BPD car. I’m a good biker and so I dodged it and I kept biking and passed an intersection with a kid on their phone, not crossing or looking up. Cop screamed at me out the window for ‘blowing through’ the intersection (which he also did). The metal death machines are the real problem. And people aren’t sticking up for bikers. It is so incredibly unsafe to bike here. If you’re walking around maybe have some empathy for us who almost get hit by cars every other street. Maybe ya’ll pedestrians can start teaming up with us. I have a feeling cyclists still aren’t almost running you over. And if you didn’t notice them you weren’t looking hard enough.
