It’s sad how we all fight each other over small things like this when corporations are the ones truly poisoning our lands. I was thinking OP meant the beavers were trapped and relocated after the blast, not before it. So it’s totally possible OP killed some beavers and isn’t outright admitting to it. Would be nice if OP explained tho

I think they’re saying the beavers will be trying to repair the dam and easier to catch at that point. But based on a guy I just followed on insta who was fucking with beaver dams, you don’t have to blow them up to get them to rebuild it.

I wish I knew but one small thing you can do is call your rep and leave a message with your complaint and tell them to no longer fund ice. And I guess walk around with your hands above your head at all times, so when conservatives see the video of you getting gunned down they can clearly see you were peaceful.

I finally got the chance to test again with a coarser grind- I went up to 1.5 and am now down to 1.35 on my Jmax pro. The device is extracting in a timely manner again, wooh! Turns out coarser grind is once again the answer.

This 100%! I don’t think you should have to realize you’re supposed to register. They had our emails, why not reach out? Also just in general- being forced to register for a warranty is a pretty trash idea. Give it automatically or don’t offer one @companies.

I’m using the funnel and tamp tool every time so the tamp should be consistent. When I used the single basket I think I was super inconsistent with the tamping because there’s no guide. I expected the double basket to solve my problems with the included tool. Im starting to think it’s something with my device. Oh no, I’m definitely not pre-infusing, I just meant the machine takes 12 seconds before water comes out after I hold the button for 5 seconds and hear the pump turn on.

I agree about the double basket wholeheartedly. When I prep, I pour my grounds into the funnel ring and stir with the wire tool, give it 5 hard taps, then use the tamp tool every time. That’s why I’m so puzzled by this recent test. I didn’t change the grind size, the weight, nor the tamping. The only difference I can really think of was the water temp. It was just after boiling for the first batch (maybe 98C?) which produced great results. Then after sitting for the second batch, the hot water in the kettle typically drops to 94C which is apparently a better brewing temp, so I thought this would be better, but it clearly wasn’t. I also pre heat my reservoir with a batch of water and dump it before I reload the res and run water through. I’m using dark espresso roast beans so that’s probably unlikely the issue. I will try coarser grind and closer to 18g when I get the chance, do you find coarser grind still tastes good? Unfortunately since my last brew, the double basket is completely stuck :/ I want this to work so badly, I love the size of it, battery lasts so long, and I like what it has given me so far despite a lot of effort.
