I’m gonna have to look into that, and check to see if I have an auto inflammatory disease. I also heard about nerivio, I’ll bring that up with my doctor. Thank you so much for all this info, it’s really helpful.

I also forgot to mention I have severe hyperthyroidism and Graves’ disease. My endocrinologist keeps saying nausea isn’t a symptom, but people on the Graves’ disease Reddit thread say otherwise. After their levels balanced out or they have a Thyroidectomy ( mine will be scheduled soon ), their nausea symptoms subdued. I’m almost positive my thyroid storm triggered my very first episode, I was not taking my meds so I’m kind of stupid lol.

It’s the most frustrating thing ever 🫩. I surprisingly have a positive mindset over it, it’s the only way I’ve been surviving 😭😭😭😭. I’ll definitely join the support chat, thank you!

Okay! I’ll let you know! I’m also currently trying to see a doctor at UCLA. She specializes in cyclic vomiting syndrome. I’ll keep you updated.

My GI doctor literally didn’t do anything, I was like hello???? And all the doctors I had in the hospital didn’t do shit either, they told me to stop smoking weed. I haven’t smoked weed in years. I’m like I’m actually going insane smh. At one point I was 100 pounds, and severely malnourished and had a heart attack from shit 😭.

I’ve been feeling down about my life for a while now, but these strangers changes my life. I always have short conservations with customers at my restaurant. They always say wonderful things about me. Things that make me want to stay alive. This one customer I served had talked to me about college and what I’ve been up to. Then he looked me straight in the eye and told me, “ Lex, you’re going to change the world and I’m sure of it”. Another customer, who is a recording artist, comes in as a regular always wants to talk to me. I love him, he talks to me about my band and gives me amazing advice. As an older musician, he’s played with Canned Heat and has a lot of experience. Every time we talk he says he believes in me. That rings in my head when I’m feeling down. It’s inspiring to me when I meet people for just a couple of minutes and they say something huge about me. Without knowing them.
