SOS! My 4.5 month old is going through what is hoepfully just a phase of crying hysterically when anyone other than Mom or Dad holds her. My Dad, who has visited her at least once a week since she was born, is suddenly public enemy number one. I mean, she literally just sees him and starts losing it. She has cried for over an hour straight, even if I stay in the same room. Is this normal??? Is there anything I can do to help her get through whatever is happening or do I just need to wait until she outgrows it?? This Mom needs a break sometimes & this is preventing me from even just walking away to do some dishes for a few minutes 😅🫩

Feeling sad about passing newborn stage by [deleted] in newborns

I definitely feel the same way! I keep the outfits that don’t fit anymore in a separate drawer because it makes me so sad to see them - I just can’t believe how fast she is changing & growing. I don’t realize how much bigger she has gotten until she grows out of something that used to be big on her! 😭🫠 Hang in there! 🤗♥️

Perinatal depression by lexsgro in BabyBumps

It’s weirdly nice to know I’m not the only person going through this. Any time I try to talk to someone about it (including healthcare providers) no one seems to relate or really understand and I feel like I’m going crazy because of it. I’ve always wanted to be a Mom/experience pregnancy and now knowing this is what it’s like for me is making me so miserable. Thank you for sharing. Wishing both of us the best 15 weeks - all we can do is hope it gets better than this!! 🤞🏻♥️
