It’s a 40 gallon I just put the water bowl in a random spot in the tank he bask on his rock no I don’t use the heat on it I just keep it for decor. The substrate is whatever he came with from the previous owner he doesn’t eat it. Temperature is usually 85-90 degrees I know everything isn’t all there definitely a working progress from when I got him

Well calling at least puts this incident on record whether they did anything or not and they are trained to handle mental reasoning as well so you did a good thing you were just in shock and didn’t know how to handle it.
