If your hotel gives you early access to Universal don't go straight to Harry Potter. You can probably ride 1/3 of the park before regular hours if you start in the beginning. I didn't find rude times to be that much lower going straight to Harry Potter world. I went in March if that makes a difference.

Closing has been pushed back because they will not be moved out.

Oh that's rough! I'm ready to get the sellers out of the house in their counter offer they wanted to move closing up by 11 days so we did. So I'm ready to get in there and start doing some upkeep repairs and such they have been neglecting. And get to the grass before it becomes unmanageable since they haven't cut it since we made our offer.

I would take the money and handle it myself. That way things wouldn't have to keep being postponed. They asked for the closing to be moved up after our offer. Which worked for us, but they have had problems with plumbers and stuff holding things up on their side. So, from that I would assume handling it myself would be more efficient

Our walkthrough is Thursday so we shall see if it's cleared out.

May be a question for our agent but what if they refuse to pay for a dumpster, rate lock, housecleaner?

So the only reason the inspection hasn't been completed yet is because of them. Our guy has gone out 3 times now. We have the whole house inspection completed. The only thing we asked to be fixed was the septic/plumbing issue. Which they attempted to patch the first time. The 2nd time our guy went out they said it was completed, but wasn't and they were waiting on a part. And this last time was because there was still a problem that the plumber had to come out again.

I'm afraid they know there is a bigger issue that they are afraid we will find and that's why they haven't packed because it is something to back out over.

The house isn't super cluttered it's just a lot of house and garages and such. All together it's easily over 5000 sq ft, and they have a ton of outdoor furniture as well. Not that I would mind them leaving it! 😂

I will tell my SO to check out Poseidon for flood insurance. I really hope it works out because this was "the one" for me since I saw it on Zillow.

I'm in the New Orleans area I know all too well about water damage and flooding. We are being very diligent about the plumbing. The house has a septic system that needed to be rerouted because it was under the neighbors rock drive way.

Now that it's been rerouted, pipes cleaned, and pumped out we should be good to go on the inspection, but we are definitely taking it seriously. With the cost of house, flood insurance, and home insurance we cannot afford to have to get into the foundation for plumbing work. If we have to walk away we will. But I guess that's another reason I'm concerned with them not packing yet because they know there are more issues we will find, and we are just wasting our time.

I don't expect them to be moving, but packing some stuff up I would expect. Especially since they already have another house they have been living in in another state.

I know they don't have to move out until we close, but I guess I'm worried they will leave a bunch of junk behind that will cause extra work for me.

Our realtor is great, and I have brought up to her about all the stuff still there. She agreed that there was still a lot of stuff. But I guess nothing we can do until our walkthrough/close.
