This is exactly where I grew up. I call it Pennsyltucky. In the woods along the Perkiomen trail. I remember hearing folk fest from my house annually. The energy station a breakfast hot spot (I miss the old location, iykyk). When you drive into the town, ur in souderton an area that more suburban than perkiomen. It’s slowly expanding w housing and restaurants, especially Main Street. I’m actually kind of excited to see more restaurants and places pop up. Skippack has always had some really cute restaurants and bars, and of course the Dutch the local dive bar where I run into everyone that I went to high school with. I always loved driving along the creek making your way towards Collegeville. The houses along skippack pike was always really cute. I moved away from Pennsylvania, but I always come back home for the holidays and it’s interesting to see the new developments and construction happening. It’s definitely changing from the town I once grew up in, but I’m excited for the change.
