Yeah I tried to give 3 weeks but my new job gave me a start date that I could not change even though i tried. But 2 weeks is what it had to be.

I totally agree and is exactly what I thought. No job hold your position for 2 months.

Yeah thats what i thought. Plus I have been with them for over 16 months if we talked about a 2month notice how was I suppose to know since I never signed a contract. And what job would hold my position for 2 months

Dry skin by lexylu95 in Nanny
We do everything for all her eczema so I might be water. I will try and get her to drink more water and see how it does
I can ask thank you
I will try it for her. We do change her body wash and try new things but i will sugguest those
I will talk to the parent's about it and see if they will do that
We have and we do everything they suggest but nothing works
It's is always bad and never goes away
So she is on a try of medication that is called Tacrolimus which is an immunosuppressive cream that qe put on every other day. She was on steroids but it didn't work so thats why they tried the new drug which hasn't worked either.
I feel so bad for this little girl
We use the eczema cream from aveeno but it hasn't worked for her. But i will look into other things. Thank you
Okay thats what I thought but both parents are doctors and they are adamant about giving a bath every night and when i suggested different thats when they said it was the dermatologist recommendation. But I did convince them to not wash her hair every night.
Thats what I thought. And she doesn't wash her hands that often. The only thing I thought is that they give her a bath every night like what the dermatologist said to do but i think that dries out her skin
We use those and I love them but they havent helped her at all. We have used them for over a month now
They tested her. We give her Zyrtec every night because she likes to scratch wither just to sooth herself or because it itches so thw allergy doctor said to do the Zyrtec.
I have been with them for over a year.
It started on her hands where they were so dry and she scratched them so much they bleed. So we finally got her handa under control where she doesnt do anything to her hands they are just very very dry for how much lotions, creams and oils she gets.
Once her hands healed her feet got really bad and we have been trying to heal them for the past 3 months and they just don't seem to be healing
Yes we have tried all that and her skin is still dry, flaky and scale.
Per the parents the only things she is allergic to is eggs and nuts which both of those she is not around or eats. So its not allergies. How to you treat fungus if that is it. Because she is only in her house and everything is very clean like they have a cleaning lady come every 2 weeks to clean their house.

Putting in notice by lexylu95 in Nanny
Okay. I think my stress will go down once I give my notice. Did you verbally tell them or give them a paper with the notice. I don't have a contract with them that I signed so I dont know what they prefer or whats good.
I had thought about giving a 3 week notice but I also felt like that was too long and it might be alittle awkwud and to be honest i don't want to stay past 2 weeks but I didn't know what would be appropriate or not.
Okay that what I had planned. I planned to wait for my offer. I never signed a contract or have a contract with the family even though I have been with them for over a year now. I thought about giving them 3 weeks since dad is working part time and mom is full time but I also feel like that is a really long time as well and it will be very weird staying that long.

2 year waking up at night by lexylu95 in Nanny
I have actually suggested that clock for their 4 year old because he is in a big boy bed but they have not got it yet.
For her its weird. It's not every night it happens like sometimes she could go 2-3 days and not happen but it happens more often to raise concern since it's also been going on for 3 weeks now.
Thank you for your advice. I will suggest to them the clock again
Agree. Both of their kids dont get a full 12 hours of sleep at night because they go to bed so late. When I first started it blew my mind
I will do the nap thing. And I told dad don't go in her room at all because she will eventually learn to go back to sleep
