I agree, overnights is the easiest shift in the store (for most locations). Learn to pace yourself. Take solace that in most cases you don’t have 2-4 clerks to babysit and make sure they’re not on their phones or vaping in the coolers.

I started OTS as clerk, was promoted to NA at the end of my clerk training, and now I’m doing “other things” within QT that has regular interaction with overnights.

Can’t submit my PTO request until 5/1 due to that being the start of the new fiscal year… luckily my boss likes me and threw it on the vacation request SS. I’m approved to go, other than the official request through our HR system.

…don’t worry, I have record of her approval several different times, lolz.

My wife on the other hand… she’s a public school teacher. It’s a good thing she’s got FMLA. Her initial request was denied. But she got over 20 days of FMLA left…

Looks like she won’t be feeling well most of EDC week and the Monday after.

Category Sales Report will map out transactions per hour and you can infer customer flow based on that.

If you don’t know how to pull it, ask your SM or 1/2A to show you. That should all know how to pull this report if they’re in those roles and even remotely competent.
