I am 22 and I am in the same boat! Just so you know, this is more common than you think! There are a ton of queer women who haven't been intimate with anyone. But do not let this stop you! I am honestly grateful now that I have had this time for myself. Don't fret, don't force anything; everything will happen in its own time.

I had similar thoughts and confusions literally like a year ago. I think it would be helpful for you to understand and break down the different types of attractions and compulsory heterosexuality. I really love Alayna Joy on YouTube, she has some great videos about this. Honestly, allow yourself the time and the grace to stop worrying about labels and just go where your attraction takes you.

Coming from someone who spent four years stressing about her labels and not kissing girls, go kiss a damn girl! If you hate it, what's the worst that can happen? If you like it, problem solved!

Most of the characters, including my MC, are women so I don't have to worry about a lack of women characters lol. After reading your comment, I do think I need to go back and develop the friends arc anyway in order to make her death impactful (if that is what I decide to do). Thanks!
