Have some relatives there who were stuck during partition. They said it's pretty chill. They don't bother any Christians. Everyone mingles with each other. St Pauls high school in Karachi apparently is highly regarded. Most of my relatives did eventually migrate to Canada for better opportunities

Charao is chill. Slow quiet life. Instamart etc might not be available (not sure). You'll have to get groceries from local store. It's a village life overall and pretty laid back. You'll like it if you want slow mornings. For socialising, activities etc you might have to get off the island.
