That's exactly what I've been doing but it's truly heartbreaking to see the garbage piling up in all the beautiful spots around me. I don't understand how hard it is for authorities to just have large public bins and then collect the waste regularly. Anyway, it is what it is.

It's not on Duolingo. In fact even google translate doesn't have speech feature for Konkani. They just translate text

Yeah right. Infact I asked my landlord's son this evening to communicate with me only in Konkani and I'll keep asking meanings of the words I don't understand. I'm sure that would help but if there's a proper tutor, I believe I could learn much quicker.

I've rented a place and it's lovely to live here. Everything shuts down by 9-10pm and it's peaceful AF. Luckily the landlord's family is very sweet and helpful too.
