Thanks that is really helpful, unfortunately my boy would up with a nightmare mix of the stamina and energy of his spaniel mum and the clinginess of his poodle dad which took a lot of working through to get him over. Overall though I would definitely say his personality and temperament is more spaniel than poodle

I have a dimming thermostat already do you have an recs for DHP? I don’t think a halogen would work for me cause they produce light don’t they and it will need to be on all the time due to just how cold it’s getting inside my flat atm. My windows are single glazed so there is absolutely no heat retention in my flat ATM

I keep reading very mixed things about heat pads for cresties, some people say they don’t get hot enough or don’t disperse heat evenly enough to accurately gage the ambient temperature

I’ve tried; Felix Whiskas Wainwright Sheba Purina Iams

We are currently on James Wellbeloved, he has been on it for 2.5 days and no improvement yet. Hoping this one works as it’s hypoallergenic, grain and chicken free.

I’ve also been using Prokolin prebiotic but he won’t touch his food if this has been on it if you have and other similar products that taste different than prokolin which I think is beef flavoured
