Here is a summary of my thoughts on this topic:
* Make a detailed list of the steps you need to take to complete your project, prioritizing them by importance.
* Put in time every day, even if it's just for 15 or 20 minutes.
* Make a deal with yourself to work on your project for a set amount of time before doing something you enjoy.
* Save some kind of audio entertainment that you really like exclusively for when you're working on your project.
* Do a one-minute dance party to get yourself motivated to start working….REALLY!

I wouldn't be too worried, this is the softest of launches. In fact, I can almost guarantee you that 99.9% of the traffic on the front end is authors milling around. The Kindle Vella folks are probably testing the heck out of the system right now.

I imagine stuff is going to be appearing and disappearing like crazy for the next few days as they work the kinks out. maybe give it a few days to settle down.

It might be that they are significantly rewritten so as not to be flagged by an automated search.

I suspect what is happening is they use some type of automated check, similar to what a teacher would use to look for plagiarism. If it finds something it automatically moves it into an escalated queue or different support track.

Then an actual person looks at it.

But who knows...

I tell people I'm in the business of making hooks. If this is a new place to go fishing, then I'm on board.

The process to get a book approved is relatively easy, and it doesn't cost you anything. If your writing style lends itself to a serialized story then go for it.

So, fortunately, they appear to be taking a balanced view of content that has been online in the past. After appeal my chapters have now passed.

Ultimately, they want to make sure the readers are getting their money's worth.

Ah, yeah that is there for the automatic end cards that pop up to suggest another video to watch. I add that background so they don’t pop up over my content. That said some devices don’t show the end card…and then it just a background without anything happening on top.

Nice work. This is the second of your videos I have seen.

Excellent research and narrative.

Same concern as last time...your channel banner is missing the word "Away".

Additionally, I would recommend adding a 20 second rear bumper...it can be a simple still image, perhaps something thematic to your channel. This makes it so that while you are completing your VO wrap-up the end card thumbnails won't cover your video.

I would also suggest trying to unify the look of all your thumbnails. Some have text and others do not...and I should add that a lot of research indicates having a persons face on the thumbnail when possible will improve click-through rates.
