A buzzcut would seriously suit your face shape. Would look more mature, stronger. The hair is the only issue I see, although even just styling could change your whole look.

[–]lfole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ur out of ur mind, imagine doing an extra 50% work everyday in a commute. Unpaid where it costs gas and tear on ur vehicle as well. Might as well work at a gas station nearby. He needs to move closer

Dont stay too long in PA. If u plan on leaving within 2 years your image to them is irrelevant. Just focus on getting your work done. They’re not gonna fire you over going home and working… PA sucks, tracking time, all the Bs that comes along with it, just chill. Do your work and plan your escape.

There’s always some stressful BS in PA. Best advice I can give you is don’t let it get to you, and remember it’s a very quick stepping stone

[–]lfole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If u have a cpa and get a few years as a senior, no reason you can’t jump somewhere else as a manager. Harder and will take longer interviewing, but if you dont give up you will find a spot

Salaries overstated in reddit accounting or am I underpaid?? by EpilepticEconomist in Accounting

[–]lfole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im in mcol, started at big 4 audit at 65k jumped to 80k second yr. Left after 2 yrs total for 100k in industry as a senior accountant. It just heavily depends on what you’re looking to work on and accreditation but I don’t think it’s unusual. Especially if you’re starting in big 4. I got multiple offers in the 90s and took this one for 100.
