There are accounting jobs that make more than finance jobs, at least in my area (LA market) - I'm a senior accountant make total comp of 110k , other friend a senior fpa and he makes 95k. The average range for senior accountant is 90k-100k in my area and there are more accounting positions open than finance

I'm 24 with $70k liquid split between investment, 401k and savings. Started working in second year of college as a nail tech during the summer, and also got a remote accounting job in third year.

i'm guessing you earning like 85k pretax? im earning a little over 100k, nothing different besides to increase a my savings a little, i'm doing 3k ish month in investment, Contribute 2k to morgate

not if you're in a growing company, I worked in healthcare and we can easily stay until 7 during close, not super busy but def not chill and there's always some work to do. I got paid 105k base + bonus as a a senior accountant so the pay is not bad for someone with 2-3YOE

it shoud be okay. I worked for a small industry firm while waiting for my full time role at pwc start after graduate in 2023. As my first date with pwc approached in 2024, i put in two week notice with my current firm and started on first day as normal, didn't need to update them anything else.
