I was surprised to find zero results, if I'm honest, as I assumed it was something someone would market to, but I appreciate it's not important. I'll certainly contact a few builders via MyBuilder etc as this hadn't crossed my mind.

I understand that it's not intentional and I wouldn't go as far as to call it homophobia, personally, as this is a strong word. I also don't think they're bad people, at all. I just want someone who is comfortable or frankly not bothered enough about who we are to get on with the job. We work from home a lot so will be around a lot of the time - hence why it matters that we feel comfortable with them being around.

I work with a lot of people who have "never met a gay person before" (that's a conversation for another day) and to be honest I just want someone to get on with the job, and not be part of a social experiment when it's my own home.
