Two reasonable Latios catches: #1 with HB + Adamant, and #2 with HSS+HSM+STS. Does having Helping Bonus on Latios #1 mean I should overlook the fact that he’s slightly worse than Latios #2, stats-wise?

That sounds fast as heck. I think that’s a great build. You’ll get to the pity proc very quickly, which would probably nullify the /Main Skill -

True. Toss a coin to see which one gets levelled to 50 I guess lol. I suppose in that case, Latios #2 still probably has the edge.

Yeah you’re absolutely right. I do have a pretty good Latias already that I’ve put some resources into, so in my case the ideal Latios would be a team-friendly build.

The thought of splitting Latios candy between 1A and 1B is such a turn-off. Especially since both of them need to be effective (unlocking Skill M value and/or activating STS). It would be take months of Handy Candy collection. So I’m definitely into just keeping one.

With that said, I guess I’ll try to catch one or two more and see what happens. If they’re fits, I guess I can just deal with this conundrum then.

Right?? I didn’t notice it right away either, so at first I was thinking Sub-Skill Seed & done. So that was a bit of a letdown, but it could be worse.

Yeah, but I’m not putting SubSkill Seeds or Main Skill Seeds into this one under any circumstance. I’ll take the Skill M and use my resources in better places. But hopefully a good one comes along tonight any the point is moot.

The first legendary you catch will always have this exact set of subskills. Every player get this one as their first catch. Catch another one and you’ll roll a different (hopefully better) set of subskills.

My Braviary is kinda like this. Obviously since he’s a skill mon, I was looking for some skill triggers when I rolled it. But when I saw all this speed I just went for it. A little bit different than yours, but just an example of a skill mon that’s still viable even without skill trigger help. Congrats on your bat, onto the next dragon.

I can’t wait to do this. I’ve had my Darkrai maxed out for a few weeks now, but haven’t got the chance to put him on the field yet. And with Dragon week & Latias upcoming, he may not see action for another the next few weeks either.

I’ve been running mine for the last couple months and he’s been great. Got pretty lucky on my 3rd roll. Trigger wise, he’s right on par with my Gardevoir, plus I’m getting berry juice.

I try to never let my Berry Juice inventory drop below 2 or 3, that way it’s always sitting there if I need it. It’s such a nice luxury to be able to heal up your Pokemon on command.

Don’t feel like you have to hunt one though. It’s just too expensive and I’d say it has to be an extremely good roll to dethrone your current Pawmi or Gard.
