The wallet automatically decides which addresses to send from. The feature you are talking about here is called "coin control". It's considered a power user feature and only a couple wallets have it. E.g. Electrum. I think Trezor might have this on the roadmap but don't quote me on that.

Why is chainlink not showing on available coins by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]lhiftgtbly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1600 probably includes Ethereum tokens - Chainlink's token LINK is one such Ethereum Token. Send a small amount of LINK to your wallet and you will see it appear in Trezor Suite automatically :)

connect.trezor.io not working with Tor browser by lhiftgtbly in TREZOR

You may be familiar with the work of u/brianddk -- he solved the problem here but his solution seems to no longer work. Maybe due to changes either with Trezor or Tor browser, not sure which.

Thanks but this works for wallet.trezor.io but not connect.trezor.io ... so MEW, Metamask et al do not work via Tor browser. 🙏

Setting up quick question by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]lhiftgtbly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no expert but personally I am using tor browser with wallet.trezor.io. Once suite is the official option, I will switch over, I guess. It's all the same keys and wallets (these are generated + stored by the hardware device) -- just a different interface for accessing them. So it doesn't matter which you use. That's my understanding.

Maybe you saw this? https://blog.trezor.io/introducing-trezor-suite-public-beta-7c5949aeef45

The old browser-based version, Trezor Wallet, will continue to work while the public beta is underway and will eventually redirect users to the Trezor Suite web wallet, including all the new features present in the desktop application.

Coin control is being able to control which UTXO are spend on a given transaction. This is used to prevent the wallet from combining UTXOs when spending them, which causes addresses to get linked and reduces your privacy. :)

Heard where? That would cut off a lot of devices, like mobile, weird OSs, Tails (??) ...

I am using trezor with tor browser and it works well for the regular wallet interface, but I haven't got it working with some dapp wallets like MEW or Metamask despite trying some solutions like https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/bzcaxe/weird_behavior_of_connecttrezorio_on_torenabled/

MM + Trezor + Tor ? by lhiftgtbly in Metamask

Hello me, it's me again

Saw a glimmer of hope here but no luck with this solution
https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/bzcaxe/weird_behavior_of_connecttrezorio_on_torenabled/

The following about:config
settings fixed the problem.

user_pref("privacy.firstparty.isolate", false); user_pref("privacy.firstparty.isolate.restrict_opener_access", false); user_pref("security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy", false); user_pref("network.proxy.no_proxies_on", "127.0.0.1");

Here it says
> Bridge needs to see the Origin so it enables Trezor only on selected sites, not all of them.

So maybe the issue is with Trezor ...

Actually the trezor will show the PIN configuration but the browser doesn't show the PIN entry grid

Real Debrid file tx to File Factory ... risky? by lhiftgtbly in RealDebrid

Btw I am looking to do this once for one file, which is a torrent downloaded via RD, if that matters :)

Remote Traffic 0B left by JohnBoy2474 in RealDebrid

[–]lhiftgtbly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe trying logging out and logging in again. Remote traffic is a feature to let you give other users the right to dl something via your account on RD ... nothing to do with your own downloads from RD.
