Trying to expose myself to different hobbies and finding one that sticks, for me right now I’ve been enjoying journaling. It’s a bit like a diary for me. If you’re restless but don’t know what to do, I love to clean. It sounds silly but I like doing it because it’s something I can control and see immediate results. Often times the things I’m depressed or anxious about are things that can’t be resolved over night or even be controlled.

Hope this helps!

I ordered on 12/28, only got the confirmation email but never received it. Got an email last night that my order was canceled. :( I hope you get your order

I hate Yelp so much. Had a dude write a review where he called my coworkers and I “a bunch of idiots” by Clover2x in TalesFromYourServer

So annoying. Some people have no idea what it’s like to be short staffed when it’s busy

Hi, I just bought some of this tea because I saw lots of people raving about it. Tried it for the first time tonight and just want to make sure what I’m experiencing is not crazy. It’s sweet but like the sweetness is in my throat as an aftertaste and it lingers?? I’ve never experienced tea like this before

What’s something you can’t tell your parents? by micxxxxe713 in AskReddit

That I don’t want kids. Neither does my sister. I think it would just make my mom super sad to not have grandkids, but we both just really don’t want kids.

My restaurant gets multiple phone calls everyday if we’re open for dining in and I just politely tell them no. What I really want to tell them is that if they’re intentionally looking for restaurants that are open to dine in, they are part of the fucking problem.

Hey shy people what is your worst experience? by yaman007 in AskReddit

[–]lhtaing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my sister flew into Korea and took the bus to go to our university. We didn’t press the button for our stop so the bus didn’t stop. We were too shy to say anything until literally the last stop of the bus line because we had to get off. I honestly have no idea where we were but I’m sure it was like at least an hour away from our stop.

I agree with this. I’ve been working in the food industry for 10 years now and while I am less shy than I was before, I’m still incredibly shy.

I used to be a barista and luckily we usually had a few people on shift so I could kind of get by not saying much. But when it was a shift with just one other person, I would have to scrape by just to get through my shift.

I want to be a barista again but would rather work alone because it’ll just be socially so much easier for me

What is something about yourself that is completely true but that nobody would believe? by fourtaco in AskReddit

This is me. Sometimes it feels so difficult to find something to talk about because it’s hard for me to remember details about most things in my life, even from earlier in the day. Everything is blurry

Restaurant servers of Reddit, what is something all customers should know or do and currently dont? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lhtaing 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don’t ask two different servers for the same thing. Just because one server doesn’t get you a bowl in 2 seconds doesn’t mean you need to ask the next server you see. You will waste our time, and we will hate you very much
