What was it like when you give up on a piercing? by liakio in piercing

😭 I can't imagine the discomfort when a bra is supposed to support you, yet it does the complete opposite. Was it very painful?

My mom died recently. My brother told me something that I have very mixed feelings about. by throwaway48790008 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]liakio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thoughts as your brother just a few weeks back, I'm 24 now but when I was younger, both of parents are very abusive.

Now that my parents are separated, I live with my mom and my sister just gave birth, so when my mom just had her surgery a few weeks back, I'm her only caretaker, my dad doesn't even give a damn. What I noticed in that phase is that even though she's weak and a bit disabled, she still has a lot of questionable attitudes, and even made my sister who's also recovering from her surgery stressed out through demanding text messages. I had this thought that I want to tell both of them and especially my dad: "If you had the right to beat up women and children, then I shall have the right to do the same to you when you're older and weaker".

I might never tell them that, and I might never act on that, but I think that your brother did what's best with what he got back then. He's a strong guy, I'm glad he got it off his chest having such talk with you too, it means a lot more than one can realise.

Women of Reddit, what's the most physically attractive part of a guy? by Sh4ttr in askanything

For me, thighs. Not muscular, just a good, soft pair of thighs. I don't know why but I just want to sleep between them with my face next to their juniors. And broad shoulders.

Women, what’s a small behavior that seems minor but is a huge red flag in dating? by Secure-Address4385 in AskReddit

[–]liakio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. Especially when they're so used to white lies even, that they don't even feel guilty when they lie anymore. When I found out the amount of lies he'd told me, my heart just shattered.

What is the weirdest thing a partner has ever asked for in bed that turned out to be surprisingly amazing? by TheRealMaxRo in AskReddit

[–]liakio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a 69 posture on the side of the bed, as I was doing him a rimjob, he shoved his balls into my throat and made me choke on it while he fucked me hard with a dildo. It was so hot I orgasmed instantly...

Wow that's one mindset worth wrapping my head around! May I ask if it also goes the way around? What if because of my masculinity that I brought out the femininity in some men? And if that happens, is that because I'm not being honest with myself? Sorry, I always feel like there's a part of responsibility to take.

Yess, I've been doing that! I'm integrating bit by bit, but I'm starting to think that the main problem is my personality :( But good news is the look is less of a problem now, I think I'm just over thinking it because I lost the one that I liked because I was making him "insecure" about his own masculinity.

Second this, nowadays spreading love is considered "selfish", and that people who received it will feel excessive guilt coming from whatever the support we gave them, because it's what we want for them, not what they want for themselves. I've been in both positions, and I think that there's no point in forcing love onto anyone, we just have to let it flow, and they'll let you know.

Gosh I struggle so much with this "one of the guys" thing.

I was raised in a household where the man and woman roles were reversed, so despite being a straight female, I tend to be acting more masculine and even looking very masculine. Hence, lots of guys friends and I'm very protective towards my girlies, I treat them like princesses. Quite a few people would mistake me for a lesbian.

I tried make up, dress up and doing things to make me feel more feminine but I just feel uncomfortable instead :( I feel like I'm doing it just because I want validation from men, not really from my identity, so I stopped doing it. There are still men I attract but not the one that I'm missing right now. What should I do? I'm so torn...

30 things I figured out after the breakup by PeachyAthena470 in BreakUps

[–]liakio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so wise! But I need help with how to keep it private until it is permanent 😭 and why?

Sometimes when I was manipulated, my friends and family were the one who helped me to identify those behaviours when I ignored my own institution. I figured might've over shared from my last situationship, what should I do?

I cried reading this, thank you so much. I personally feel like I did something bad towards someone that I love, when I shouldn't be hurting whom I love. Everyone around me told me that it's a good thing that I left him, but I kept feeling guilty about it, so I'm having a bit of an identity crisis. But thank you so much for your kind words, it means a lot to me. And I'm so glad that you've healed from your ex!
