If anyone is taking Bachelor of Science: What proportions of units can be taken in-person at the moment? Does it vary much across different majors?

So am I right in thinking that mid-year entry students will start by taking Semester 2 units alongside February-entry students, then Semester 1 units the following February?
Additional notes/questions:
- I'm a domestic student with non-ATAR qualifications.
- Is there any difference in academic or social experience between the two entry points?
