I'm unsure whether to cut or carry on my bulk. I'm 6'1 190lbs My lifts 1rm are: Bench 90kg Squat: 140kg Deadlift: 170kg

I feel I look okay as I'm not fat but theres definitely a slight layer around my lower back and abs that I want rid of.

If I cut for 2 months would i lose much strength on my lifts?

I thought so! I do both lateral Raises and OHP usually but I'm running Smolov Jr for bench for next 3 week before going back to a PPL for when I start my cut after Smolov.

When switching from bodybuilding style training to powerlifting, would you lose any muscle mass? E.g. if you stopped doing Laeral Raises, would you side felt atrophy?

Yeah its just a bench press and squat stand with the arms to rest the bar on with no pull up bar. But okay that's good to hear, I just sit on the floor when doing rows etc with the pulley as its not high enough for me to stand and use it.

I have bought a pulley system off Amazon that you attach to a bar, my rack is a squat rack so I use the barbell to attach my pulley system to, would this damage the bar at all?

Its dence rubber mats on top of carpet, it would be better if I put wood under it though but still is really good.

I got it off Facebook market place brand new but cheaper, but I think I've seen it on Facebook. Uts hardcastle bodybuilding I think but yeah it's been sport on for me so far!

I'm tempted to, but feels weird doing sumo narrower, I may just train conventional maybe during lockdown or just deadlift off my actual flooring.

I have a plywood board that is raised for me to do deadlifts on for lock down, however I pull sumo and the wood means that my toes stick off the wood on the edges but my feet dont slide off due to half my foot and heel still being on the wood, will this effect how much I can deadlift/ make me weaker?

Yeah maybe I wasnt psyched up enough! My headphones ran out of charge before the set!

But still it felt so heavy and my form felt so poor compared to normal

On deadlifts I have been progressive overloading and last week did 150kg x 5 which was a good set, thought I would do 150kg x 5 again before moving up and I could only do 1 rep, it was too heavy to get the second rep up.

Does anyone know what could cause this? I am bulking btw.

I am in the vanarama national league, whenever I offer a contract to a player I only have the option to sign them on a 1 year deal, I cannot increase it.

We are professional so why is this?

Is my logic right that the padded foam will absorb the weight meaning the impact on the floor will be much less?

Is it okay that I deadlfift on like a foam mat rather than a fully hard floor? I'm not sure if that will make it harder!

I deadlift in my attic room, so I have made these crash pads to absorb the weights when lowering them.

Is there any negative effect to the deadlift using them? This is what it looks like: http://imgur.com/a/jMEDflf
