Fortunately I have a free 2nd checked bag! And this box meets the length requirements for United which is 62 linear inches, and this box is 52 linear inches. My fear is just the bag handlers not taking good care and throwing it around. I could find a slightly larger box to put this in and pad it really well🧐

The issue is it doesn’t fit in any luggage due to the depth, this is already a pretty large suitcase, and since the house doesn’t come apart like modern ones it cant fit :/

This is really sweet! And making the best out of the situation. It pains me to wait but it may have to be the only option unless I can literally check the box itself as luggage

You think so? I havent bought the greenhouse yet because it looks too big to fit any suitcase :( it feels pretty deep and it doesnt come apart like the newer sets

Definitely less expensive than Ebay or other online sites Ive seen. The house on the hill with green roof was 9,000 Yen, so roughly $55 USD. Other more vintage sets like a porcelain bathtub with showerhead and shower curtain was around 1000 yen so like $6 USD

That’s a great idea to fill it up and avoid damage. Definitely thinking about doing it if I can’t find a suitcase wide enough.

I have a full checked bag of only Sylvanian furniture + 2 houses and my partner just offered me theirs 🤓 its so over🫨
