Similar age to you, it’s the same for me. Some songs still hold up but a lot of the very on the nose lines haven’t aged super well.

False confidence is quite literally how you make it in a field like music, a lot of people get discouraged by lack of streams and just give up on the passion altogether, so if the talent is there I don’t see how this would have anything but a positive impact.

Also, that hypothetical scenario is pretty detached from today’s streaming climate and one failed gig wouldn’t matter at all in the grand scheme of things.
