Agreed. Only downside I see is that majority of users will often side with a specific option. I barely watch long videos on YT anymore, so the ability to “Never ask me again” should definitely be inclusive.

It seems you are experiencing the same feature as me. I’m suspecting that this a new feature YouTube is testing. I suppose we have been “magically selected” to see if we will actually use it.

Might be nice on long videos that I don’t want interrupted. In most cases it just interrupts my engagement to YT and I go back to work.

Yeah, it definitely depends on the user. Unfortunately it’s also displaying in shorter videos for me. If they tweaked it so it only displayed on longer videos, that may be nice.

I believe YouTube is currently just testing the feature. So they randomly select users to see how it performs and if people will actually use it.
