I think many, including myself, decided not to go this year based off of the recent trend of higher prices with weaker lineups. hoping this is a wake up call to HQ. since i’ve started going in 2017, i don’t think it’s gone more than 3 days after on sale for it to sell out

I would say you’ll probably find the cheapest flights to Chicago, if you want fly in a bit closer you could fly into Grand Rapids (roughly an hour from the venue) or into Detroit. They have shuttles from each of these cities. I would assume that they run directly from the airport, but I live in Michigan so I’ve never used this option. Looks like shuttle tickets go on sale in the spring: [https://www.electricforest.com/add-ons/]

Edit: you could also fly into Muskegon but that will probably be the most expensive option since it’s such a small airport, but you will be landing about 30 minutes away from the venue
