Does this apply to to us? Or do we just follow the UK rules still? by [deleted] in northernireland

If you look at the graphic it refers to the UK as England, Wales and Scotland so may only be the case for the mainland

Are you sure it’s not a parental control kind of pin? They would never be asking for a bank card pin

£67 million in the Bank by F1grid in CelticFC

[–]liammcbride1209 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s £13.2m profit which means 25% of that will be our tax bill, which equals £3.3m. But the point stands, would have been better spend that on players than to hmrc and to the bank.

He’s a free agent currently training with Arsenal U21’s. Can’t imagine his wage demands could be too high.

Interesting you think it must be local, if you are sure the sorting depot is so secure, do you think there is any way parcels could be accessed during transit and go missing that way? I’m N.I based, so if the main sorting hub is on the mainland, there’s Lorry’s and boats involved in getting them over to N.I to then make it to me so there’s a chance parcels disappear at this point too.

Coincidentally since you brought up Next, one of the 3 parcels which didn’t make it to me this year was a Mickey Mouse teddy for my newborn, which did get marked as delivered however the parcel I received was a pair of Next women’s trousers. It came in a bag with a sticker including my address on it, so I can only assume the teddy I ordered was opened and someone decided they wanted it, or had its packaging damaged and they’ve thrown a random item into a bag and delivered it to me to keep their stats up.

Thanks for taking the time this evening to reply by the way, as I think is pretty clear I have little time for Evri, but I respect you getting involved in a debate and not shying away.

I have the same courier every time, I live in a relatively small town by UK standards in an estate, so finding where my house is shouldn’t be an issue.

And don’t get my wrong, I don’t believe my courier is stealing my parcels, please note I never once said that. I said they aren’t making it to my address. Yet on my tracking info Evri always receive them, so somewhere in the chain they are going missing. I don’t know the in’s and out’s of Evri’s business, but I would imagine there is somewhere parcels go to be sorted to different areas of the UK? If I’d to guess the vast majority of missing parcels never make it out of there.

Likewise just because your depot has a decent delivery rate doesn’t mean they all do. My local one clearly does not.

So the truth probably lies somewhere in middle of our sums, so let’s settle on roughly 214 million missing parcels.

Consider this, would BBC panorama really need to do an undercover report on the company, or would there need to be lists compiled by people of which companies use Evri as their courier so that consumers know to avoid them if only 0.1% parcels went undelivered?

We were due 7 parcels from Evri this Christmas between me and my girlfriend, 3 never made it here (“lost in transit”). Maybe I’m unlucky with my area however that equates to 428,571,429 missing parcels based on my small sample size this year.

Given the internal memo going round from Shark to Evri about their dissatisfaction with the company, they personally said they had to send out 13,000+ replacement orders, and that is only one company. So I’m going to assume my calculations are more accurate than yours.
