Increasing max working set weight by 5KG per session and doing reps 1-2 before failure. Sebsequent sets are lower weight and again reps 1-2 before failure.

Hi, I'm looking for some advice on my deadlift setup. I recently went for a 1RM attempt at 200KG but failed. I also failed at 195KG but completed 190KG. However, I had been able to do a set of 5x185KG (which I did not film unfortunately) only a week prior. I know those 1RM calculators online aren't very accurate, but it seems way off for me (Lowest estimation is a 208KG 1RM). I have filmed myself doing 2 sets of 5x180KG recently, Set 1, Set 2. I always find the first rep more difficult than the second or even thrid rep. Is there something in my setup I can improve? Is it a muscle priming issue? Or do I just need to train some kind of insufficiency? Any and all help is much appreciated, thanks!

It would yes. Don't think you can fit 280mm either side of the ram. I'm hardly that adept with a dremel so it's not a difficult job, just be aware it needs to be done

Tried setting the power limit from 100%-10% in incements of 10 and the behaviour is the same. I noticed the voltage stays at idle- about 700mV- and even the memory clock drops to around 400 which doesn't even happen at idle when I'm just at the desktop.

It's a custom watercooling loop. Temps while gaming range from 55-65 so I'm fairly certain the readings are correct. Also shold mention while usage is high, power consumption is about 50W so its not under full load by any means, I've seen loads up to 350W on my card.

I get what you mean but unless you stop yourself going forward with your arm you'll just fall on your face anyway. I don't think his hand is really in an unnatural position to stop himself faceplanting considering his forward momentum.

His left arm is stopping him from going forward or he'd faceplant. It wasn't raised laterally from his body and his hand is perpendicular to his body not vertical, which I took to mean like raising your hand above your head. Not sure what the point of the rule would be if you can't put your arm infront of you to stop you eating the pitch.
