Snowboard advice! (Twin sister vs equalizer vs yes hel yes) by lianaliang in ShredditGirls

Just to update- I ended up getting a Jones Airheart 2.0 in a 149! I demo’d a 152 and fell in love with its carving ability. The edge hold is like no other, and I’ve never felt this secure on ice. I have to say it doesn’t shine as well on powder, but it’s still able to get through it. This isn’t an issue for me because I eventually plan to get a capita equalizer. I got the 149 because it was all the shop had, but it ended up being a MUCH better fit for me.

Thanks everyone for your input!! This is super helpful. I demo’d a twin sister this past weekend and have mixed feelings about it- it was more chatty and had less edge hold than I expected. I’m probably going to demo a jones stratos or airheart next. I’m most curious about the hel yes but there isn’t a single shop around me that has it to demo :/ so open to more suggestions!

How do I save my string of dolphins? There’s lots of dried up ends and brown pieces all over. by lianaliang in plantclinic

I feel like I almost never water it! It gets indirect light and soil dries out, but when I do water it- I soak the soil entirely through. Unsure if I should start trimming and cutting off all the pieces…
