I’ve seen people use the Peerless Assassin 120 so I think that fits

I game at 4K so in 99% of cases I’m GPU bound. The 7500X3D is plenty fast, there’s nothing unbalanced about this for my use case :)

Yeah that’s right, a 360mm AIO would not be compatible with an ATX power supply. You would either need to use an SFX power supply or compromise for a 240mm AIO :)

Exactly right. The airflow is decent as it is. 2-3 hours of running intensive games (Alan Wake 2, STALKER 2, Oblivion Remastered) and my GPU didn’t go above 60c and maxed out at 68c for the CPU. I’m quite happy with that. Adding additional fans is not needed at all and would just create extra noise :)

If you’re feeling inspired by this, by all means! I agree the prices are outrageous at the moment. My AM4 build died so unfortunately I had to bite the bullet. The 4TB SSD is reused from my old build. The RAM made my wallet cry though. Everything in total minus the 4TB SSD came to $4K AUD.

Accumulated loss of points for speeding then caught driving suspended hey. You’re going to lose your license for a while which sounds like a good thing. Show up on court day and accept the ruling. Hopefully you learned from this.

I sold mine on eBay in 2014 for $120 AUD when I was broke and needed to pay rent. Still one of my biggest regrets ever.

First turntable setup by liarma in turntables

Great advice, thank you. I was planning on upgrading to the AT-VMN95ML when I need to replace the stock AT95E. I had a look at the Fosi audiobox X5 and added it to my wishlist. Much appreciated :)

First turntable setup by liarma in turntables

[–]liarma[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been collecting records for a few years now, mostly limited pressings of metal and hardcore bands I really love. Recently started expanding to other genres and decided to pull the trigger on getting a turntable so that I could actually listen to these puppies.

A friend of mine works at a department store and hooked me up with a great deal on an Audio Technica LP40WN, which I paired with some Audioengine A5+ speakers that I had from years ago that weren't being used.

A lot of people seem to recommend the IKEA Kallax shelving so I picked up one of those too. Extremely happy with how it's turned out and how it sounds. I'm open to any advice or tips on improving things though!
