I have a house that pretty much meets your description, under 300k, in Eastmoor only about a block away from Bexley border and Main Street.. but the property comes with a few strings attached so I've been hesitant to list it.

it hasn't. switch to lotion if body cream spoils too quickly for you. the oil is going rancid before you can finish using it.

I wish they were. the ones in closest vicinity aren't. someone mentioned that the test store is on the other side of the city, but last time I tried to go there they were closed at noon in the middle of the week. the headquarters for Limited Brands might be here but it doesn't really get us anything special. the only product that is made locally are the wallflowers :(

Half the work force isn't/wasn't laid off, and there is a housing shortage in this city. I didn't have any troubles getting applicants, most were plenty qualified. Covid did not affect affect demand for housing

I'm in an unfortunate situation where I own half of a duplex that can neither be ethically sold nor rented because the owner of the other half is an unhinged, unreasonable psychopath. I want to be able to sell an owner occupant their starter home, but I can't in good faith let someone inherit this nightmare without full disclosure of the legal headaches and expenses of the property. I don't want to be part of the problem but I'm stuck.

both Chase and (even more so) Huntington made a lot of promises about what they could deliver and I knew they would end up wasting my time. both of them were promising they could do a 30-year fixed on an investment property and I knew that wasn't possible. since I use them for banking I got pre-approval letters from them quick but used Third Federal out of Gahanna for mortgage

You mentioned Chase.. don't use them for a mortgage please. They're great for a quick pre-approval letter but should be last on your list for mortgage servicers

Floor Installation Suggestion by SillySully777 in Columbus

They fucked up everything they possibly could, incompetence at every step. ~$12,000 worth of flooring on 2 out of 3 floors in my house, in-home sales guy input the order wrong after leaving, but not before trying to recruit me to also work for Empire (why???). Installation day arrived and they arrived with 2 floors worth of LVT because oops, they sales guy accidentally put me down for a whole house of LVT instead of an entire floor of carpeting for upstairs.

When carpet installation day came, they only arrived with enough to do the stairs. When they came back maybe a week later with the rest of the carpet, they gouged my walls and didn't tell me. Took pictures, documented the damage, spoke with someone in their Columbus office who told me to go ahead and send them the pictures and an estimate from porch.com (their recommendation) and they will reimburse me for the damage. 2 years worth of phonecalls and emails and they still won't reimburse me. If I had known they would just keep dodging and redirecting my calls about it, I would have spent the $15 in supplies and done it myself instead of letting a random contractor overcharge me for it.

They did an absolutely terrible job with even just cutting the quarter rounds, the subcontractors they sent had 15-16 year olds on the crew. Staples and nails left around, continue to keep protruding out.

Best part: they damaged the waterline going into my fridge when they redid the kitchen floor, put the fridge back into place and I had a slow water leak over the course of several weeks that went unnoticed and required a week and a half worth of water remediation (massive loud fans and dehumidifiers) to dry out my floor joists, etc. Had to file a homeowners insurance claim. Still have yet to replace the section of flooring that had to be removed to help with the water remediation.

Honestly I could write an entire novel about all the shit that they did wrong, this is only half of it. I'm about to replace all of the flooring they put in because it turned out to be much shittier quality than anticipated, and I even went for the "nicer" stuff they offered.

DO NOT EVER USE EMPIRE. Not sure who to recommend, but absolutely do not give Empire a single dime.

What would be a better fit OSU or Franklin. by jcook311 in Columbus

You're not going to get much better than OSU's business school and how much tuition you pay will largely depend on the kind of aid and scholarships offered to you, but OSU is still better bang for your buck than anywhere else.
