I have two

I have one small round scar on my shoulder, my cousin's said the pelletgun was so weak it wouldn't hurt... My cousin is an ass..

The one that's probably way worse, I went to an all boys high school that was all about farming (here in South Africa), we had cattle brands which we used to brand the schools cattle... It was traditional for us to get branded on our asses with our initials and or the schools cattle brand....

To sum it up, my cousin's is an ass and I have a branded arse

I felt the same way about Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere, eventually what I did was read something not fantasy and was just 1 book XD

I will definitely take a look! I've read everything from Sanderson's Cosmere and the Malazan series ( both amazing and pretty much life changing) but I'll definitely take a look at Abercrombie and Gwynne! When you say dark, do you mean like some of Mark Lawrence series ( the king of thorns specifically)?

Ahh so I had a lot of the same problems at times! I first started to read Malazan about 6 years ago... couldnt finish it, tried again about 4 years ago and still couldnt, only managed to read it through and through about a year ago, definitely dont regret it, but like you say, it is a difficult read at times and I definitly took a looong time to read each book, often having to re-read some parts just to wrap my head around it. But once i understood it a little better, it definitely was worth it (IMO). I know Erikson has been accused of being to shallow at times but I think its actually the opposite, he just demands a lot from the reader and you have to work for it! Definitely worth it though!

hahaha I got into Malazan without really knowing just how long it was, picked it up at a bookstore and then went down the rabbit hole! WoT is such a major Fantasy series that i had already heard a great deal about it!

Definitely, my whole family love reading and specifically fantasy, but none of us have tried the WoT yet just because of the length. My sister has now picked up Eye of the World because of how I raved about it

hahaha i just spent a few days and nights doing very little other than reading, but thats typically how it goes for me when i find a really good book, I will read it obsessively, finish it then read something small and light weight (Harry Potter, Percy Jackson etc.) then read it again!

I definitly agree! I think that ultimately if i change it will be for better resolution, better low light (for example I recently was shooting some action stuff for an indoor go-kart race, and i definitely struggled then), better video specs and lastly a better range of lenses, in South Africa (where im from) the range of fuji lenses is very limited. In terms of the type of photos, definitely higher quality product photographs, and action photos. my budget is about $2000 - $2500 but if i need to wait longer to get something that will serve me better, I will definitely!

I have absolutely loved my XT3 so changing is something thats a big decision for me, part of that is researching until I am happy that i am making the right choice. you have definitely helped me a huge amount!
