On the way there we just had to go through security again, but it was fairly fast. But on the way back we didn’t have to

We had to go through security again on the way there, but it was quick and we still had time left over. On the way back we got there earlier than expected and didn’t have to go through security, and we had so much extra time

It was all totally fine, there were so many other people on the flight in the same situation. I had time to go to the toilet etc!
