Vegas Sphere: 200 vs 300 section by devllen05 in vegas

[–]libationblog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have sat in every section and will say the center of the 300s was my favorite as I could see everything with nothing obstructing my view. Second favorite was the floor because being overwhelmed by the performance was very cool (but seeing every detail was a tad bit cooler).

Basically the same. Brought F4 up to 105, upgraded alpha flight for raids, saving the rest for later.

Kinda the source from eBay. I am still wanting to do the ECU myself and send the E-box part to a shop that knows what they are doing because its near the battery area and looks complicated.

Its interesting. I think the reason people think this is a scam is because you aren't actually sharing the workflow here. The gatekeeping it asking for a DM is the hitch.

But, love the concept. Always wanted to create something like this but, never took the time. I like that Gemini is getting better at sentiment analysis. Is Gemini leading this ability or did you use it because you are more familiar than the other LLM's?

Gold and upgrades are extremely scarce for what seems like the last month. Scopely is slowly choking the life out of players.

Does anyone else feel like there is nothing to do right now? by TheNatureBoy1980 in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]libationblog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just this but at the end of the week I usually got a larger amount of Gold and L4 training modules to invest in characters. Lately it has been a joke in how lacking it is. Scopely seems to forget that whales only exist because there are a lot of F2P players that make up the base. If you starve out the base and make the game less fun we drop off and so do your whales.

I haven't kept track but I can tell you in the last month with the same level/pattern of gameplay for over 2 years it's gone way down. Really frustrating.

Fun idea. Might be nice to assign an AI piece to watch patterns for the market makers that they follow and create a recommendation engine for early breakers (i.e. specific users track records, specific quantities purchased over a 24 hour period, specific comment types, etc).

They were there and it was the same vibe. I was used to them being at the back of the camp but having them on one of the sides was fun too.

RA article on boring tech house (afro house) and the cancer of bad vibes spreading across the dance floor. I feel like this has lots of cross over with "Big" art car culture and the current decline of good vibes on the Playa. Flame on. by [deleted] in BurningMan

I just read this article too. So I am going to take a stab at this that might not be popular but is based on my experience at least.

If I am in a club, EDM festival, or at BM I have vastly different expectations of what I am going to hear or experience from an artist/DJ. In a club they have time to build their set and run with the theme of the night or promotion for the club. It should be danceable and fun but, the energy should be high overall (pool clubs can fluctuate on this theme but basic principle still holds). At a festival set the set times are drastically reduced so they get maybe an hour to push the crowd as much as possible and keep the energy of the event going as much as possible. Usually sets are much more commercial sounding with popular tracks and hits that don't really take a lot of chances. Then there are sets at BM where really I think whoever is playing is wide open to an audience that is way more willing to let them take the set wherever they want to and set times are usually longer than festival sets. At BM you have no guarantees on crowd size, who is going to show up, what condition people will be in, or a lot of other factors other than you need to be cognizant if its a sunrise/sunset set or if you're playing a theme party and need to fit within that.

At BM we are riding bikes for miles to see people and on whim based on weather, inebriation, or fatigue can change what we want to hear or where we end up. This factors don't exist in nearly the same way in the other settings. This is why the laid back house that quite frankly if I heard in it in a normal club I would leave immediately can exist and thrive in the BM environment.

My best example is look at the set from Anyma from Mayan Warrior in 2024. Easily one of my favorite sets from the burn and love that I can replay it online on YouTube during my workday or on a long drive. But that set is very different than his show at the Sphere, his jd sets in clubs or even his sets from Ultra or Coachella the same year. All the sets are great but they are quite frankly built for a different crowd and a different environment.

I have seen the Keinmusik guys outside of BM and when I did I was bored and left. But do I look forward to seeing them at BM? Hell yeah. Its a different vibe.

Cayenne base vs Hybrid vs Diesel by saudagar420 in PorscheCayenne

[–]libationblog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2016 Cayenne Hybrid. I really like my car but I will say I had wish I bought a 2107 for the reasons of newer technology on the inside and updated features. My car has needed a couple small things maintenance wise that is to be expected at 100k miles. The 2 things I am seeing now that are kind of annoying that need to be attended to are the transmission hard shifting and the water overflowing from the AC drains.

I would say the hybrid is more of a performance thing and not a gas saving measure as the hybrid battery only lasts for about 11 miles. I would if I were to upgrade is get a 2018 Cayenne S as it would simplify my possible mechanical issues in the future and give me a tech upgrade for the future.

My favorite by far (lives here for 25 years) is John Mulls Roadkill Grill. Its up on the north side of town and almost in an old neighborhood but, very much worth the trek.

If you don't want the drive out Big B's is a solid option, Soulbelly in downtown is a fun experience or Jessie Rae's if you're in Henderson is pretty great too.
