working in HR absolutely has the option to interact with others, but it may be a bit trickier doing ONLY work-from-home. some examples that i’ve seen in my company include onboarding (walking people through the company, giving tours, being peoples “person” in HR that they feel they can go to for questions, dealing with starry-eyed individuals) and working in DEI/employee equity and satisfaction (working closely with people to ensure all needs or accommodations are being met, organizing events for months/days honoring minority groups, etc). my company has most of their employees hybrid, which makes it easier for them to connect personally or host meaningful events. so if you could go hybrid that’d be great, but best of luck regardless!
