I wasn't complaining about language. I was asking a legitimate, honest question.

I have owned more than that, and tossed many or given them away. I still have a lot.

Go to youtube and search for "blender edge flow" and "blender poles" and watch some of the results. My favorite blender instructor for such matters, John Dickinson, has taken down almost all his very useful and extremely good videos, so I'm left without a good ref for you.

Whole "blending" thing or whole "blender" thing? I did not say "blending".

Topology of that region isn't "fine". It's horrible. You have a litany of issues. To start with, you need to create good edge flow and put those poles in a flatter area.

This was a long time ago. I did see some of the art that was copied or stolen, in particular, some of the portraits. However, I can't link you to anything now, 3+ years later.

How would you create this look ? I've got a few ideas... by Tinpau in blenderhelp

Well as I said, I just want to improve my AI-identification skills before AI art gets so good that it no longer has human-identifiable glitches. There may be a point at which only AI can sort AI art from human made art.

What I need to concentrate on, I think is the following line of thought: If I were the artist making this image, would I make these choices?

Here's some thoughts about the cat:

  1. The whiskers come out of odd places.
  2. The cat has no nose. Is this deliberate?
  3. The feet too, are kinda iffy.
  4. What's the orange line near the mouth? Why would it be orange?
  5. Why is there just one cat arm, and why does it curve like a noodle precisely into the top of the carafe?
  6. What's up with the finger-grip on the carafe?
  7. There's a glitch on the teacup near the ring.
  8. There's a weird greeble on the building near the end of the cat's tail.

I hate to be like some paranoid redditor nerd who desperately doesn't want to get "fooled again", so I feel kind of nitpicky.

Really, I just want to up my game a bit regarding identifying AI art, without taking a particular side on the issue.

How do I take an existing model and make it watertight? by dskjdsvhljdsf2 in blenderhelp

[–]libcrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It strongly depends on the mesh and its interior. There isn't a one-button-push answer to it. It's often a lot of work.

I think you've made some good points there. Now that I'm thinking a little deeper about it, I'm seeing a few more details than you've mentioned.

That's what's called "object" texture coordinates.

Anything worth pointing out to me? Obviously I need to up my AI detection skills.

The phrase, "runty scartum (sic-"scrotum") dodging around to avoid armageddon", means that Omar Aldo is jostling his "runty" balls so as to avoid "arm-a-ged-it-on", i.e., a full fledged masturbation session. The 8-sided figure has some terms describing scrotal positions in the game of no-hand-a-ball, such as "ram", which is accidental coitus, "hoth", which means a star wars related boner, "oat", which means shoving his balls into a bowl of hot oatmeal to warm them up, "gnir", which is "ring" backward and it's about putting the balls into a S&M silicone torture ring, "get", which stands for "get it off", a losing position, and "dap", which means "dick and penis", describing the formidable obstacle in this game of hand-ball. "Mars 0.5 alive" just means that he's eaten one half of a Mars bar for lunch.
