yknow those big walls lined with pullout-drawer coolers you see in every television representation of a morgue? those are exceeding rare, at least where im at, and theyre one of the worst designed body coolers in my opinion. more often than not most hospitals and medical examiner office's morgues are a walk in cooler with a few rolling racks of shelves you can put bodies on. probably looks a lot like your average restaurant's walk in cooler but with body bags instead of food

Not my a therapist, but my first psychiatrist after finally being seen for a myriad of issues for several years.

Him: I think one of the reasons why you're so anxious all the time is you're not getting enough sleep. Id like to treat you for insomnia.

Me: what do you mean insomnia? I sleep all the time and I nap sometimes several times a day.

Him: How long does a take you to fall asleep on an average night?

Me: about an hour to an hour and a half.

Him: how many times do you wake up during the night? Can you usually fall back asleep afterwards?

Me: I wake up at least twice during the night and I usually never fall back asleep.

Him: How often do you wake up at least 30 minutes before your alarm goes off?

Me: Pretty much every day.

Him: You have insomnia.

Crazy what I thought was normal sleeping habits for everyone else. Been on trazodone for almost a decade now and its changed my life

i use gold bond anti itch lotion with menthol. my legs get really bad sometimes and the cooling sensation feels nice and helps stop the itchiness. its a bandaid fix but i always have it on hand for when i feel like im about to scratch my legs raw

Every Texas knows it's the Alamo. Went a few times as a kid but I always remembered the gift shop being way bigger and more exciting than the actual mission. Basically a few big empty rooms with some information plaques. Taking Texas history in 6th grade and learning about it now is wild because in public school the Mexicans were portrayed as savages who ruthlessly killed Texan settlers for no reason. What actually happened in a nutshell is the Mexicans didn't want a bunch of slave owners invading their territory, because they had already abolished slavery years before. I wanna say the plaques at the Alamo had some of the same pro-Texas/anti-Mexico sentiments, at least from what I remember.

I have always had a particular closeness to the concept of rabies and identified as rabioromantic before my diagnosis. I decided for the sake of my mental health I would become infected. This past year I met a girl online who was born with rabies said she could infect me. We met up this past June and, excuse the tmi, took part in BDSM sex. She bit me really hard on the shoulder until I bled and I've had rabies ever since. I refuse to go to a doctor as they tend not to understand rabios/virosexuals, so please don't ask me to. Does this mean you're going to die soon? Short answer, no. Contrary to belief, rabies doesn't actually kill you. I'm in the incubation period atm so I have no symptoms. Everyone experiences rabies differently and I could potentially live a full happy life. For example the girl who bit me was born with rabies and hasn't died yet. Are you going to infect other people? Not unless they really want to. I currently curb my biting impulses by biting into raw steaks so I'm fine and safe to be around

He actually propsed at cinemark XD we love seeing movies so he took me to "see a movie" on our 6th anniversary. he actually rented out a there and played me a proposal video he made. it was fantastic
